Great, if you have a surplus of egg yolks. It’s short and easy.


  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 cup milk
  • .125-.25 cup sugar
  • the zest of .5 lemon
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 pinch salt

Combine all ingredients thoroughly in a sauce pan. Stir continuously over low heat, until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat, still stirring constantly, until mixture ceases thickening.

Serve warm, with your favorite berries on top, and maybe a spring of mint.
